Saints and Soldiers

Despite the odd clunking mis-step and aspirations above its rank, this has enough going for it to get it home safely.

There aren't any plot surprises in this low-budget effort, so the success of the mission from a viewer standpoint depends on how well you connect with the characters and their plight.

A worthy effort that's entirely appropriate for mainstream audiences.

The authentic-sounding banter helps to round out the characters' backstories, too, but the acting isn't the best and Heyborne's limey accent borders on parody.
