“A brazenly unpredictable single location thriller, #Manhole mixes twisted violence, social media satire, and escalating absurdity into an engagingly ludicrous descent that justifies its madness with inventive storytelling.”

An original enough blend of single-location thriller, online cautionary tale and WTF ridiculousness to make for an enjoyable plunge into the unknown/unknowable.

About midway through, #Manhole more or less jumps the shark — or is it the manhole? — by throwing in so many twists that it veers toward gory parody.

#Manhole is uncompromising in its twisted, violent aspirations. Brazenly unpredictable, it’s one of the best survival thrillers in years.
