No one to like. Little reason to watch.

“Cold Copy” is a tense journalism drama that ultimately can’t be saved by a group of strong leads who are running lengths with the material they’ve been given.

Ultimately, the film is less about the ostensible themes of journalism and truth that it starts with than an erratic drama about two out-of-control compromised people, anomalies who deserve each other.

In scrutinizing the ambiguous relationship between truth and sensationalism in contemporary journalism, this thriller becomes more consumed by melodramatic twists than authenticity.
