必殺仕事人2018

2018 wears its heart on its sleeve and succeeds as tense, well-paced popular entertainment.

Joseph doesn’t spend much time developing his characters beyond the simplistic, but he does create a frightening and riveting survival thriller, based on the real 2018 flooding in Kerala.

The film is stacked with humans, but its most impressive feat is technical in nature.

2018 is really impressive in its depiction of the brute force of nature and it has the potential to grab you emotionally, too. For my taste, however, the film is also just too commercial and corny to completely captivate me.
