Noise (2023) makes some good points about mental health and past traumas but does little else.

For as stressful as the ambiance of the movie becomes, especially as the story reaches its climax, it also kind of loses the plot and forgets what it’s actually trying to do, leaving us with an ending that feels incomplete, unsatisfying, and rushed.

It's a slow-burn kind of movie, beautifully directed and skillfully acted. Regrettably, the story doesn't quite live up to its promise.

The aural landscape resists obviousness with its many layers – commanding attention between scenes when the story itself cannot.
