... A film that places the experiences of its young protagonists front and center, framed by colorful locations and an obvious centennial inspiration. [Full review in Spanish]

Sister & Sister is well-observed and aware of its own limits – quiet virtues for a charming film.

“Sister & Sister” is an introspective study of two young teenagers who yearn for their father, but eventually don’t need him because they have each other. An intimate look of sisterhood told on the backdrop of stunning Panamanian scenery.
