A burned-out professional sniper finds himself trapped in an all-glass penthouse by a lethal competitor and must find a way to survive and escape with little to no cover between him and the killer.
After a fair dollop of comedy on his slate in the last few years, this dour, downbeat performance could herald Adkins entering his Chuck Norris phase. He is a capable actor, but this cliche-heavy stodge does him no favours.

Take Cover delivers everything in just the right doses so that it doesn't matter too much how convoluted or simplistic its plot is, although in a movie like this it really doesn't matter at all. [Full review in Spanish]

This is one of those non-stop action films once things get going and it’s fun while it happens. The bullets and fists fly and almost everyone is hit in one way or another at one point or another, making it a seriously violent film that doesn’t hold back.

There is practically nothing in the plot of this film that viewers won’t have seen before, yet it works, largely due to the combination of engaging characters and expertly delivered action.
