Although not one of the studio's classics, it has warmth, humor and delightful characterization.

A solid, child-friendly work which will keep little ones content, if not mesmerised.

Four years of work were invested on this $7.5 million production and the expense, care, and expertise shows.

The Rescuers is a film often forgotten, and it is easy to see why. While the film might not be a total disaster, it simply is bland and sadly wastes some genuine talent from both the animators and the performers.
