Russell’s version of a horror film, and an over-the-top hoot it is – perfect for an All Hallow’s Eve drinking game or for terrifying the neighbor kids by projecting it onto the side of your house.

What's so wonderful about Russell's quintessential female villain is that she embodies a sense that evil has no gender. It has no feelings. It simply is, and it's quite fun to get to know it.

Cheap effects and gratuitous displays of nudity only heighten the film's delirious demeanor.

In a standout performance, Donohue fully embraces the director’s bold and extravagant style of filmmaking.
