Jennifer Lynch, daughter of David, does the filmmaking equivalent of drunkenly totalling dad's prized Ferrari.

Chained is silly and nasty at the same time.

Plenty nasty but singularly lacking in clever new twists on a weary genre.

From misguided accusations of torture porn to a bizarre 'twist' ending, this film is *interesting*. Still, the performances from Vincent D'Onofrio and Eamon Farren are outstanding, and the premise has plenty of promise.
