A Few Feet Away

Despite its weaknesses as a character piece, the film manages to impress with its account of the queer scene in Buenos Aires, packed with vivid visual details.

Watching Santi, an innocent, looking for connection is a sweet, sexy and sad experience, but ultimately a satisfying one. Swipe right on "A Few Feet Away."

The movie, a solid debut feature from writer-director Caro, winks at gay hookup culture through dryly comic sex scenes, while earnestly profiling a young man losing himself to the heady buzz of the online hunt.

A well-crafted character study about a young man figuring out what he wants in life.
