The film is a celebration of its subjects and a homage to the freedom of old age. It’s a mesmeric trip down memory lane that’s well worth taking.

Memories of a Burning Body definitely has the power to move when Sudasassi Furniss ably turns most of the other obstacles presented by the sensitive material into strengths.

It all seems so effortless and natural that you don’t at first notice how complex the staging is and how pleasing the storytelling rhythms.

Memories Of A Burning Body has an impressive concept, and the surface is well executed, but there is no floor, just a ceiling.
