Anaconda

Anaconda never reaches the delirious heights of Steve Martin’s similarly themed comedy Bowfinger. But it shares more DNA with that movie than some silly giant snake.

Boasting more star power than all the Anacondas put together, but noticeably fewer laughs, what could have been a fresh take on familiar material ends up a regurgitated mess.

Rudd and Black are fun enough on screen, but "Anaconda" is so loosey goosey in its plotting and mechanics that it's difficult to invest too much into it.

The premise may be somewhat generic, and the terror largely toothless, but Gormican crafts an Anaconda film that pays loving tribute to a generation of creature features and their fans, while offering a new adventure that’s fun for the whole family.
