It’s best for the quiet scenes between the leads, in which Dunst knows exactly what to do and shows her co-star the way.

It's nice to see Cianfrance working in a less melodramatic key, with conflict at a low simmer, and he doesn’t cop out on the reality of the situation.

A very strange but very entertaining movie.

The result is a pleasant and entertaining feature, although viewers may be left wanting more of a deeper exploration of the complex themes that the script only touches upon. [Full review in Spanish]
