Grizzly Night

Doeren clearly has a feel for the bear necessities, but the human interest hardly gets its boots on.

The talented cast fills in the blanks for us, from the family dynamic that makes the surgeon’s role so meaningful to the friendships that offer support in the face of calamity.

Without painting a rosy picture, Grizzly Night shows the event supplied valuable lessons about appreciating and respecting nature.

While Grizzly Night's two-dimensional characters and on-the-nose dialogue make its first 20 minutes a slight chore, it picks up significantly in its final hour.
