Christie Cronan

RTCommon Sense MediaOct 5, 2025

A strong mom's heroic story is dulled by weak execution in this fact-based thriller.

To Kent’s credit he manages to hold it all together in large part thanks to Beckinsale…there is never a moment where we question her character’s pain, frustration, and resolve.

RTThe AU ReviewOct 1, 2025

There are moments of promise, but never enough conviction to stay in any of the lanes it sets for itself.

“Stolen Girl” is time that I will never get back. It is not the worst movie because then it would at least be fun to skewer. It is just sad because Beckinsale deserves better.
