"China O'Brien" is rough around the edges, borderline slapdash at times, but there's Rothrock to hold the endeavor together, providing a greatly entertaining take on western attitudes with this cowboy tale of law and order.

... The action is captured on screen by director Robert Clouse with his usual satisfactory proficiency.

The movie is just ok, but Rothrock is awesome.

Shot with a furious speed akin to the films coming out of Hong Kong at the time, Rothrock's fights are genuinely jaw dropping.
