Critics consensus

“With the combined might of Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, and Irving Berlin working in its favor, Holiday Inn is a seasonal classic -- not least because it introduced "White Christmas" to the world.”

Between the toe twinkling and ivory tickling it's still a comfortable, cosy way to pass an afternoon.

Crosby's easy, casual banter is just the right foil for Astaire's precision acrobatics, his wry, offbeat humor.

Loaded with a wealth of songs, it's meaty, not too kaleidoscopic and yet closely knit for a compact 100 minutes of tiptop filmusical entertainment.

Everything here is entertaining and attractive, with magnificent musical numbers and beautiful songs. [Full Review in Spanish]
