Bloody Hell

"Bloody Hell" is an assured work, confident in what it is and not trying to be what it isn't. For a rom-horror-com that works on all fronts, that's a job well done.

Grierson's maniacal, hyperactive work certainly lives up to its title, thanks to O'Toole's engaging demeanor and comic timing and one hell of a screenplay from Robert Benjamin.

Bloody Hell is blissfully, absurdly over-the-top, but in a twistedly charming way.

The creature elements of this horror film blend well with the ’80s horror tropes it employs. ...O’Toole gives a convincing one as his friendly outward appearance goes toe-to-toe with his hyper-militant internal monologue.
