Zombie flicks aren’t exactly known for originality, but they usually at least try to be interesting. Even Muay Thai with all of its balletic grace and effective violence isn’t enough of a gimmick to make Ziam watchable.

As entertaining as this movie is, I needed a lot more focus on the characters and what made them tick. We do get some input, but just not nearly enough, which is a real shame.

I enjoyed 'Ziam' partly because it’s a departure from the zombie lore I’ve known since I was a child and partly because it’s fast-paced, good-looking and, without slowing down the narrative, invests enough in the main characters that you care [about] them

‘Ziam’ makes its lead character impervious to everything, which cheapens the experience. Even still, it’s a serviceable action horror hybrid.
