A sparky if a smidge predictable feature debut for writer-director William Stone, fronted by a mix of fresh and familiar onscreen faces.

William Stone's debut feature is an expanded remake of his award-winning student short, and the lengthier running time allows for more fleshed-out characters and sharp observations of folk on the fringes, who walk a tightrope between right and wrong.

The Fence is feel good fun. An easy watch with some genuinely funny moments, even though you can see a lot of the jokes coming from a mile off.
