My Bloody Valentine has lously gender politics for a slasher movie, and that's both disappointing and disconcerting because the film has probably made enough money to merit a sequel and inspire other 3D horror movies.

In the end, the movie is a true blood-splashed valentine to fans of the cheesy genre that spawned it.

My Bloody Valentine 3D doesn't have nearly enough fun with either its jazzy technology or its inherently campy premise.

The movie provides a few hearty laughs, a profusion of nonsensical stupidity, and plenty of so-bad-it’s-good moments to entertain viewers in the back row, whispering to each other about the inanity of it all.
