In Ghich Pich, director Ankur Singla captures the bittersweet turbulence of adolescence with a rare blend of tenderness and authenticity.

Without anything earth-shatteringly different to add to the typical coming-of-age story,...Ghich Pich ambles along pleasantly. The performances are heartfelt, especially by the young actors.

[Ghich Pich] is a nostalgia-dipped slice-of-life dramadey that is more about the push-and-pull for small adjustments in life than anything else

It is not just the cover; the soul of the film, too, is very middle-class, capturing its value system and the little latent volcanoes families carry in their folds.
