This "Oasis" documentary lives up to its title and then some. Don’t look back in anger, yes, and do look forward in hope.

Thoughtfully selected fan interviews work with the live shots to cement the band’s far-reaching legacy.

It’s also an unexpectedly moving film about fandom: the unifying, quasi-religious experience of finding your tribe and the way that art can connect a wide and disparate group of people.

Don’t Look Back in Anger offers something quite unique in the music documentary genre: a literal backstage / rehearsal-room glimpse of a musical reunion.
