Skintown

A more polite brother to the “Kneecap” boys and a more cautious cousin to those “Derry Girls” still, the Fermanagh-set friendship comedy sends fizzy, sweetly chemical energy coursing through a rave-romanticizing riff on the coming-of-age formula.

Walsh finds genuine poignancy in this tale of youthful abandon and domestic terror, not by cynically tugging at our heartstrings, but by presenting us with characters who feel real and whom we care deeply about.

One hell of a trip equals one hell of a film… It will leave you ecstatic without requiring any chemical assistance. Just the natural high of discovering one of the most enjoyable and electrifying films of the year… Human Traffic meets Kneecap.
