Family Dinner

Family Dinner unfurls its methodical slow-burn tale in the days leading up to Easter Sunday, centering volatile relationships and strict, peculiar holiday traditions to create deep-seated psychological dread.

Questions about the family’s individual motivations rise at an exponential rate ... every possible truth leaves such a bitter taste in one’s mouth that it’s even harder to tell who to trust.

A unique story with an interesting ending that highlights the enormous strength one character can hold.

Family Dinner runs the risk of being underwhelming, largely because of its self-control and foreseeable finale, but a closer look reveals ingredients not visible on the surface.
