Cutaways

Cutaways continues Schwab’s streak as an indie filmmaker following in the footsteps of Araki.

Cutaways is a treatise on the art of filmmaking and a love letter to cult-favorite filmmaker Gregg Araki.

Schwab’s voice remains confident, and his affection for these messy, flawed characters is evident throughout. The film doesn’t aim to be groundbreaking; instead, it offers a raw, intimate look at what’s left when the spotlight fades.
