This documentary sustains the tension around the story of its titular serial killer by combining investigator testimonials with the recollections of the killer's own daughter.

It’s a powerful, terribly personal story Kerri Rawson shares in My Father, The BTK Killer. As true crime goes, the documentary is too close to the point of discomfort.

My Father, the BTK Killer shifts the focus from the perpetrator to those whose life the BTK killer destroyed and will leave you rather emotional by the end.

She [Kerri Rawson] delivers a very honest portrayal of the man we all came to know as a monster. It IS also centered very much on her experience, which may not be to everyone’s liking.
