there are few modern animation that are cuter than Prep and Landing

With its TV-G rating, Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol is great, kid-friendly holiday entertainment. While it’s likely not going to enter the pantheon of annual holiday re-watches, it’s the ideal show for the under-10 crowd.

Unfortunately, this new story strays from the initial concept of elves who work to prepare the way for Santa, instead focusing more on the characters and their lives when not on the clock, which is not as magical or entertaining.

Where previous stories in this universe felt like uncovering another layer of a shared winter wonderland, this special also touches on summer and romance—and almost misses the mark of the season.
