This movie is excellent for the little ones up through the preteen years. They'll like the slapstick, the wild and wacky antics of a cartoon cross-country adventure and Max's quest to be cool at school.

"A Goofy Movie" looks slapped together with about as much care as a kid takes making mud pies at the beach. The Script is abysmal and the animation just barely adequate.

Although A Goofy Movie resurrects a major character of the Disney short cartoons of the 30s-50s - the gormless canine star, Goofy - viewers expecting a nostalgic recreation of the old-fashioned, small-town world he once lived in are in for a shock.

While there's nothing here that's going to challenge anyone, even the very young, A Goofy Movie has some sweet moments that should be shared by fathers and their young sons.
