Snare

The real crime ... is how utterly boring it all is.

"The Snare" is admirably artful and oblique in putting its own twist on the haunted-house story, but it's derivative of much better psychological suspense films and is obnoxiously unpleasant to boot.

The Snare is so without substance that you might not even remember watching it.

It tries to create and maintain an atmosphere of pervading tension, but through its unrealised premise, uneventful plot and simple lack of any real story, it utterly fails to hold your attention.
