Storyline

A group of friends set out to investigate local legends surrounding the Slender Man, documenting their search with handheld cameras as curiosity slowly gives way to paranoia and fear. As strange occurrences escalate and the line between myth and reality begins to blur, the footage captures their unraveling descent into obsession. Presented in found-footage style, the film leans on minimal exposition and escalating dread to suggest an unseen presence stalking the group.

Darn - I had high hopes for Slenderman, the eerie modern legend of the tall faceless man in the forest that steals children. The disappointing thing is that there was a lot of material that COULD have been scary. The fear factor flopped.

The director fails to reproduce the terrifying experience that Slenderman created on the web... most of the time it ends up boring, for his predictable appearances. [Full Review in Spanish]

Slenderman unfortunately is a movie that seeks to rise to the wave of frenzy that has caused the character, without taking the time to polish the final product, delivering a tape with a very poor development. [Full Review in Spanish]
