Of course it's tempting fate to dub your film Simply Irresistible, but this vacuous soufflé about a magically-empowered caterer is genuinely rank.

Simply Irresistible is old-fashioned and obvious, yes, like a featherweight comedy from the 1950s. But that's the charm. I love movies that cut loose from the moorings of the possible and dance among their fancies.

Enjoy all the flights of fancy and let yourself lap up all the cuteness possible.
