Consent

This particular drama does feel very basic, though, painted in broad brush strokes to fit into its hour-long running time.

As with so many of the stories on which Consent is based, there is little in the way of resolution here, but there is a notable moment of accountability and contrition involving one of the boys.

The drama might be geared towards a younger audience, but I suspect that school students won’t learn as much from it as their parents, teachers or anyone else who works with young people might.

The whole thing felt like a bizarrely seedy information video for sixth formers. Almost unwatchable.
