"Breaking Training" is a slick movie with enough moments to make its defects more palatable.

Director Michael Pressman tries to create an atmosphere of fun, and the less critical will get caught up in it.

Paul Brickman's witless screenplay is the type of thing that gets its laughs by having the bathroom door swing open while the fat kid is going potty.

A bright and brisk and breezy refreshment that not only evokes giggles and belly-laughs, but also cures our rampant nostalgia for those wonderfully nutty "Bowery Boys" romps of the '50s.
