Invasion of Astro Monster is a great narrative that is marred by budget and time-constraints.

This is a fun one, though a bit of a retread of the last one.

The lip flapping English of the American version is only negligibly more entertaining.

Invasion has many pleasures, not least of which is its resemblance to Honda's earlier, more purely sci-fi ventures... But perhaps its most remarkable feature is its subtle, but noticeable steps in rehabilitating Godzilla's character.
