Less a pure documentary than it is a fact-finding mission, with the real story waiting to be presented somewhere down the line.

RTAustin ChronicleSep 18, 2002

Comes off as less a 'quest for truth' than an extended example of preaching to the converted.

RTSan Francisco ChronicleSep 17, 2002

Gazecki's film is so journalistically flawed and needlessly melodramatic that it will be treasured only by those who share his singular vision.

William Gazecki's latest documentary, "Crop Circles: Quest for Truth," is an ambitious project that attempts to tackle the mystery behind crop circles. But the dimly-filmed picture would work better as a weeklong series of documentaries on cable.
