Anurag Basu picks a superb ensemble cast to spin out a collage of little stories about people, love and lust, trust and betrayal, truth and lies.

It all rings true but the pace drags, and the pretentious placement of the annoying songs with the non-stop appearance of an ugly bunch of rockers is simply irritating.

Fails on an entertainment level.

Strong performances from the core cast, a strong emotional thread and good cinematography make for an engaging film, though it's not groundbreaking cinema by any means.
