[It] ends up feeling drab as well as looking it.

B

RTToronto StarJul 26, 2013

Schultz allows the tension to build slowly and for Rufus's secret history to be revealed in increments. There's also some great interplay between the actors ...

K

Kat Halstead

RTCommon Sense MediaOct 14, 2025

Plenty of silliness and chaos bounds out of the fun concept at the heart of this heartwarming family movie.

C

RTNational PostMar 3, 2015

Rufus is well made as far as it goes, but it's hard to enjoy a story when you keep wondering when the Volturi are going to show up.
