“Day of the Dead may arguably be the least haunting entry in George A. Romero's undead trilogy, but it will give audiences' plenty to chew on with its shocking gore and scathing view of society.”

The movie represents Romero's very best writing, with unusually strong characters for a gore picture.

"Day of the Dead" is plenty gross, but there's nothing scary about it.

Most of "Day" is just people yelling in each other's faces.

Romero’s compelling examination of human behavior in the zombie apocalypse is just as interesting as his previous 2 Dead films. Add some incredible effects from Tom Savini and you’ve got an underrated sequel that stands up well to its predecessors.
