A Room for Romeo Brass

This smashing movie is fresh, true and poignant as a song.

[A Room for Romeo Brass] effortless in the way it insinuates itself into these families, touching in the way it shows how fiercely Romeo and Knocks are, despite everything, their own little men.

Add a breezy indie soundtrack, an offputting bewigged cameo by Meadows in the chippy, and a sense of time and place to rival Gregory's Girl (1980), and you've got a proper treat for lovers of real life.

Hard to believe a film can be both touching, dark, and disturbing all at the same time...
