Communion

…seeing Christopher Walken deep probed by aliens has a real curiosity value for gawkers and thrill-seekers, but Communion’s intermittent sense of quasi-religious conviction is unusual to say the least…

Excellent photography. Excellent soundtrack.

Communion does an excellent job recreating what ufologists call high strangeness: the hard-to-swallow aspects of an already hard-to-swallow phenomenon.

Communion isn't a good by any known human standards, however, if we go with my high strangeness theory, that is, that the movie is intentionally weird to invoke the feelings of an abductee in the viewer, then it's a smashing success.
