A realistic drama about a mid-life crisis.

Es una pelcula un poco triste, ntima y tambin esperanzadora, como lo es cualquier historia de amor, sobre todo si es impredecible.

Beautifully performed by actors who make as much use of silent glances and body language as they do dialogue, and directed in an instinctual, subtle manner that trusts the audience to derive meaning from scenes where nothing much seems to be happening.

Fiksi. is a psychological thriller inspired by a reversed Alice in Wonderland, delivering a cleverly structured narrative full of unpredictable plot twists. With standout performances—especially from Ladya Cheryl as the emotionally detached Alisha—the film builds a chilling atmosphere through strong acting, sharp dialogue, and stylized visuals dominated by mysterious yellow hues. Winning multiple awards at the 2008 Indonesian Film Festival, Fiksi. is a must-watch for cinephiles who enjoy subtly intense and aesthetically rich psychological storytelling.
