Faces of Women

A wonderfully unpredictable and lively triptych on the financial, sexual and emotional emancipation of African women, pieced together over twelve years by a film-maker who hasn't a single dull thought in his head.

A technically rough, cheerfully rude, folkloric comedy about the status of women in the Ivory Coast.

Naive and ragged by ordinary standards, but a lot of life breaks in where formalism breaks down.

A provocative and informative film on the domestic and business conflicts women face in today's Ivory Coast.
