An unassuming gem.

In the background, we see a glimpse of Mexico we rarely see in movies, devoid of cliches. In the foreground, two fine actors bringing depth to Luna's otherwise slight character study.

The overall result is not exactly dull, but given the talent and potential here, should have been more poignant and memorable.

Glover is always pleasant to hang out with, Rudolph gets to show off her considerable dramatic chops, while Joel Murray makes a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo. And if you don't think you can feel sorry for a pig, wait for those last few minutes.
