"Hiroshima" (1953) by Hideo Sekigawa: Atomic Bomb Scene
Hugely powerful as an attempt to communicate a profoundly unspeakable act. So soon after the event, it's a surgeon's finger pressed into a fresh wound, but this ensure its potency remains.

Despite its obvious propagandistic, Anti-American nature, "Hiroshima" is a great film in all aspects, and a must-watch for anyone interested in the consequences of the atomic bomb in Japan.
