The general gorgeousness of [The Cheetah Girls:] One World almost but not quite distracts from what has become a tedious and increasingly disturbing narrative conflict.

Dan Berendsen's story has little originality and heart, but director Paul Hoen does all he can to perk it up. He's aided by some pounding musical numbers, though they're about as shallow as the rest of the story.

Disney might just as well have titled this original movie Cheetah Girls: Diminishing Returns.

Music aside, the story is cute enough.
