One Girl Against the Mafia

There was genuine courage in the girl's actions, but the writer and director, Marco Amenta, drowns it in a flood of sentimental effusions.

A riveting and inspiring story right out of The Godfather.

A storytelling guitarist's running elegy gives Rita's bold actions a sadly epic scope.

The story attests to the extraordinary courage of women like Rita and Piera who refuse to sit by and allow the violence to continue.
