If the names of Gus Kahn and Danny Thomas are vague or unfamiliar to you now, just keep your ear close to the sidewalk; you'll be hearing a lot of them soon.

Operating under such handicaps of plot, but with the help of some amusing dialogue, Nightclub Comic Danny Thomas puts remarkable warmth into a portrait of Kahn.

This story, as enacted by Mr. Danny Thomas and Miss Doris Day, is remarkable for its similarity to the life-histories of all the lyric-writers who have ever lived.
