Critic

RTEmpire MagazineApr 21, 2003

A plodding period drama with its fair share of ludicrous plot twists.

Hal Hinson

RTWashington PostJan 1, 2000

An overearnest story about feudin' mountain families that's good for little more than a few hoots at its own expense.

Richard Freedman

RTNewark Star-LedgerJan 6, 2026
